The Extraordinary Club Launches in Liverpool


All the movers and shakers from across the Liverpool City Region were out in force to attend our launch event on 14th June – Scaling our city – Unlocking the Power of the City Region through its digital creativity which took place at Barclays’ Eagle Labs, Avenue HQ, Liverpool.

The event comprised thought leading discussion from high profile national and international creative and business leaders such as Universal Pictures industry veteran Johnny Fewings and Jeremy Stevens, Strategy and External Communications Director from Shop Direct. Featuring a keynote from Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram, the speakers discussed the unique opportunity for the city to position itself at the vanguard of the 4th industrial revolution. The City Region is poised to unlock a completely new growth trajectory in its’ emergent role as both the new International gateway to digital connectivity and as the nexus of creativity and tech.

Steve Rotherham, Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor, said: “I’m really excited to see our local talent coming home and launching such an exciting initiative for Liverpool City Region creative and digital entrepreneurs. We are working towards our vision of establishing the region as a 4th Industrial revolution International gateway for digital connectivity and the creative industries are one of the key drivers in this space.”.
